Skillcrown hands over latest development in Kingston to Clarion Housing

Here at Skillcrown, we are thrilled to have handed over our latest development to housing association, Clarion.

The project commenced in 2017 involving 30 one, two- and three- bedroom apartments together with a private balcony, communal area, living wall and secure cycle storage in a prime location in Norbiton, Kingston-upon-Thames. With a new retail commercial unit on the ground floor, the development is spread across seven floors finished to a high specification.

“We are delighted to handover this high-quality scheme of 30 affordable homes in such a prominent and historic borough of London to longstanding client, Clarion. After securing this contract in 2016, the team have worked hard to deliver these new homes for those in need and those wanting to get on the property ladder. Here at Skillcrown, we take pride in delivering quality homes and this scheme is no exception”, said Salik Osman, Managing Director at Skillcrown.

Lorna Sadgrove, Senior Development Manager for Clarion Housing said: “At Clarion, we are helping to tackle the country’s housing shortage and we aim to deliver 50,000 homes nationally over ten years. As the UK’s largest social landlord, delivering good-quality and well-designed affordable homes is of paramount importance to us. We are pleased to be working with Skillcrown to deliver these shared ownership and affordable rented homes in Kingston.”

Alongside this project, our team at Skillcrown are working with Wandle, providing 41 apartments in New Malden, near Motspur Park station for shared ownership and affordable rent.
