Skillcrown secures Belvedere development contract with Moat

We are excited to announce we have secured another contract with longstanding client, Moat to deliver 26 new homes, including one-, two- and three- bedroom apartments in Belvedere, all earmarked for London Affordable Rent tenure.

The project will be located on the site of the former Belvedere police station and the proposals are for the erection of a new part four, part five storey development with associated parking, landscaping and minor improvements to the public realm.

Located in the heart of Belvedere, future residents will benefit from a variety of shops and restaurants nearby with Lesnes Abbey, a little further with its historic ruins and formal gardens. Additionally, Belvedere station is a short walk away offering a regular 30-minute journey into London.

“We are delighted to have secured another project with Moat, and even more delighted to be delivering a scheme for 100% London Affordable Rent. These new homes will help boost the area and house people looking to stay in the local area”, said Kevin Clark, Land & Business Development Director at Skillcrown.

Russell Drury, Senior Business Development Manager at Moat comments: “It’s great to be continuing our partnership with Skillcrown to deliver much needed affordable rented homes in the London Borough of Bexley.  We’ve been working closely with Bexley and these homes will help towards meeting their housing need, including the provision of two fully wheelchair adapted apartments.”

The scheme is earmarked for completion mid 2021.
